Downloading new ringtones is fun, but there are hazards that mobile phone users should avoid. Many sites offer free cell phone ringtones to encourage customers to patronize their products. Downloading ringtones on cellphones using Virgin mobile carriers is the same as the other networks. You can download ringtones directly to your phone through WAP or SMS. Download the latest hot Ringtones absolutely free. Whether you’re looking to express yourself or represent your best friend, MilesRingtones.com have exactly what you’re looking for.

Realtone, sometimes called real music ringtone, has now replaced polyphonies. Realtone has now taken over the market making it a growing consumer spending mobile content on music personalization. Realtones have, no doubt, fetched large amount of business for mobile music industrialists. Record labels, for instance, frequently release the tones before the single to enjoy the first-mover advantage in the market, as realtones usually outperform singles.

Polyphonic tones, however, lack the ability to use digitalized audio samples. Polyphonic ringtones allow more than one note to be played at once and also increase the sounds that are available to be played by using the SP-MIDI format. This will increase the range of music that will now be able to be created as a ringtone. Polyphonic ringtones, true MP3 real tones, wallpapers and much more for your cell phone.

Want to pimp your phone with some Nokia ringtones? Truetones often outsell singles. Truetones are mp3 sounds of real things. Like a mowing cat or the mowing of a cow is always funny.

Online revenue Need Not Be Complicated

   Posted by: writer    in Software

One of the simplest and most overlooked aspects of online marketing is that it’s not complicated. More precisely, there are a lot of “experts” who try to make it complicated. Aside from whatever motivation they might have to do that online profits occur from one simple equation –

Traffic + Conversion = Sales

– performed over & over again

There are MANY ways to get traffic (visitors) to your site and get them to take some action or “convert,” which will either result in more leads or (less frequently) result directly in more sales to your business.

So here’s the other simple rule — you only need to master 1 or 2 traffic methods and 1 or 2 conversion methods, and you will make money. When you drive you only need to know two pedals, and you don’t need to know EVERYTHING about internet marketing in order to add revenue to your business.

With that in mind, there are a few basic traffic techniques I’ve implemented in some of my sites and client sites that have universally and consistently WORKED. Here are a few of those methods — but remember, you only need to pick one or two:

Increasing Visitor Count

1) Twitter is a highly effective means of targeting your niche and developing the conversation with your customers and prospects. There really is nothing like it. However, most businesses don’t know how to use Twitter effectively. They spam with “sales tweets” — “Look at the cool new thing I’m selling.” The 80/20 rule is highly effective — 80% of your tweets should be about something interesting, funny or otherwise engaging… a question of the day like “What’s for lunch?”… anything to get people talking, laughing, thinking… Also, keep it consistent and be generous with re-tweets. A few tweets a day go a long way toward establishing a rabid list of followers. The wrong thing to do is to Tweet like a madman for a day or two and then disappear for a month. Or worse, don’t reply when someone direct messages you or @messages you. That’s like ignoring someone at a dinner party when they ask you to pass the gravy. You WON’T get any dessert.

2) Video marketing is a very fast way to rank your site and get lots of inbound traffic. Keep your videos consistent — don’t show up one day in a baseball cap and dark lighting, talking about the rain, and another day bouncing in a jungle gym screaming about business leads. Consistent message, consistent tone, consistent look & feel. Also, be sure to put a call to action in your video’s description, as well as the full URL of your website’s landing page, and use appropriate keywords.

3) Article marketing is an evergreen method for outstanding traffic generation, with one HUGE caveat — mix it up! Putting the same article on 400 article directories will get you nowhere fast. You will get a bump in traffic from all the inbound links until Google figures out they’re all the same article and basically count it as one link. There are content spinners out there that alter the content of your articles automatically, but you have to be very careful here as well. Most content spinners change a word or two to replace it with a synonym, or they mash up the article randomly so the output is basically junk that cannot be read. It has to pass human review. So if you’re looking for a quality content spinner, ideally you want to be able to change the entire sentence many times throughout the article, and then have it spin those into hundreds of different articles. That’s the professional way to do it. At the bottom of your article, have a call to action in the information field; a blurb about you (the author) and a link to a free guide the reader can pick up at your website.

Visitors Taking Action

1) Keep it simple. The landing page has to do ONE thing — get people to ACT. For this reason, it’s been called a SINGLE ACTION PAGE. Pear it down to the bare essence of what you need the visitor to do. Consider placing a video on the page with a very simple message, “Hey thanks for stopping by for my free whizbang. Just type in your first name and e-mail address and I will rush it right over to you. In just a moment after you send your information, you’ll get an e-mail with a confirmation link. Click that link and I will instantly send your free whizbang.”

2) Direct, direct, direct. Notice the video script in #1 above — see how we instructed the user on exactly what they need to do? And then we told them what to expect next, and what they would then need to do. And we closed with a reminder of the benefit — the free whizbang.

If you have trademarked the term “whizbang,” then I apologize in advance. ;)

3) Test, test, test. ALWAYS have two versions of your landing page operating at one time. You can optimize your landing page using freely available Google tools in the Web Optimizer toolbox. You really can’t go on “gut” here — the data will be you every single time. Even on PPC ads, we have literally seen the addition of a question mark in the ad increase conversion by 16.8% So test, test, test.

Conclusion

These methods work on any business in any industry. Here is some social proof –

Local landscape designer increased her traffic by 7,342% (yes seven thousand percent)

  • Local artist went from three visitors a day to an average of 41 visitors a day
  •

  • International digital publisher had zero e-commerce and started converting 16% of all traffic to revenue within 72 hours of implementing one traffic strategy and one conversion strategy
  •

  • Changing a landing page to a simple design on an e-book site turned conversion from an anemic two sales per week to eight sales a day — on the same traffic.
  •

I hope this helps your business. The average business fails to do what it takes to drive traffic or achieve conversions to their website. While they exercise 20-30 traffic methods on average, they don’t do a single one effectively.  There are many sources online to learn about effective marketing strategies, including free resources and some almost-free, like the definitive guidebook  750 Ways to Get a Visitor to Click on You.

Do-it-for-you solutions are also available; experience guides the appropriate strategy for the website and market. The biggest challenge business owners face is knowing which strategy to implement. Experimentation can be very costly in terms of time and lost sales… The key is to find a reputable marketing firm that offers a full range of customized services as well as downloadable products and courses to assist every website owner at every budget level.

Fascinating Topics

Everybody knows that purchasing a house is likely going to be the biggest investment of their lifetime. The saying is “You Buy A House, You Make It A Home.” You should feel safer in your homed than you do anywhere else in the world. There’s nothing quite so comforting as know that you have an adequate amount of mortgage protection insurance in the event of your untimely death.

When you buy a house it means that you’ve decided to make a long-term financial commitment. Unfortunately, you never know what the future holds. One thing’s for sure though. If you’ll go one step further and purchase mortgage insurance this will help alleviate the stress often caused by a weak financial plan. To say it plainly, if you don’t have some type of mortgage life insurance and you die unexpectedly there’s a good chance that your spouse and children will be forced to sell the house and move into an apartment.

Believe me, I know it’s tempting to skip the insurance in an attempt to save money. However, perhaps it’s time to do a bit of research. With the economy in the shape it’s in nowadays there’s a very good chance that you can get a better deal on mortgage life insurance that you might have imagined.

Think about it. You’re committed to taking care of your family while you’re alive, but what happens if something happens to you? Wouldn’t you feel more at ease with a mortgage protection insurance policy as part of your overall financial portfolio?

Honestly, finding the right mortgage life insurance policy is not difficult. If you do your research on the internet it’s really not even all that time-consuming. Trust me, the peace of mind you’ll get from it simply cannot be measured in dollars and cents. Actually, it will probably turn out to be the best decision you’ve ever made in your life.

A Few Words About Pillows to Help Prevent Snoring

   Posted by: writer    in Software

Shopping the market for snoring products will bring you an overwhelming choice of options.  There are throat sprays, syrups to take before going to bed, pills that supposedly open airways, and all sorts of devices to be worn on the face.  Nasal strips are a popular choice for many, and actually seem to work in some cases.  And of course there are many, many different types of pillows to help stop snoring.  To really decide which product is right for you, consider how they work and what would be best in your particular case.

Medicines

The throat sprays, syrups and pills all seem to work by coating the back of your throat with something thick that will keep the tissues and membranes from vibrating and making the sound we call snoring.  These work in most minor cases.Various people have found that using these in conjunction with pillows to assist prevent snoring can be most effective, as your throat is coated and relaxed and your head is supported properly.

Some shy away from these products however because they are medicines, even though their ingredients are very mild and not invasive in any way. Some persons may possibly be a bit sensitive to the common ingredients of menthol and eucalyptus, and children especially can find these products a bit daunting.  One of the nice things about pillows to help how to stop snoring versus these medicines is that you don’t have these concerns with safety or with irritation to your nose and throat.  Also, children who have a problem in this area are not as embarrassed by pillows to help prevent snoring as they are with having to take these medicines, especially if it’s time for a sleepover at grandma’s or a friend’s house.

Nasal Strips

Nasal strips typically do not contain any medicines, although some brands may have a coating of menthol. The majority just work through pulling the outer corners of your nose open to allow better breathing.  Again, some have found that using these along with pillows to help stop snoring can be very beneficial.  Others too find these somewhat embarrassing to use, and children especially may shy away from them.

Using Pillows to Help Prevent Snoring

If you are looking for some type of product that contains no medicine, does not require any special bedtime routine, and is not embarrassing to use, then consider some pillows to help prevent snoring.  Most of these models are made of thicker foam that cradles your head and neck to keep it in proper alignment so that your mouth does not fall open and you do not start breathing through your mouth, which is a common cause of snoring.Pillows to aid with prevent snoring are very discreet and easy for anyone to use without anyone else’s knowledge, and this can be welcome news for children who snore and who may already be very self-conscious.  Most are very affordable, usually starting at less than thirty dollars, and are many snorers first choice of treatment.

How To Choose A Big Size or Mastectomy Bra

   Posted by: writer    in Software

Introduction

Over the years as I matured my bra size increased, particularly after having babies. Before that I was a size 34 bust, but after giving birth I went up in size. After menopause my bust size increased again and I found my normal bra did not fit me anymore. One day I took the plunge and went into my local underwear store and had myself properly fitted and measured. To my amazement I discovered I was no where near the size I thought I was. The statistics from research carried out suggests that 70% of women are wearing the wrong bra size and many of these women have never actually been measured at all and so simply buy what they assume to be their size.

What most women do not realise is that a ill fitting bra can affect their health and well being. If for instance the bra is the wrong size it might cause severe back and shoulder pain with the constant resistance to the pressure on those areas of the body. As in the example above, bust size and shape will alter with variations of weight and hormonal change. This in turn will require a change in bra size. Because a woman’s shape may be in a constant state of flux, regular fittings about every 6 months are highly recommended.

To Find the Correct Bra Size

The best way to check that you are wearing the correct size bra is to go to a shop or store that offers a professional bra fitting service. A specially trained fitter will measure you to work out your correct size. The system used is to take a tape measure and place it underneath the bust and around the rib cage so that it feels secure but not uncomfortable. If the number measured in inches is an even number you add four, if it is an odd number you add five to give you your bra band size.

Once the band size is established the next measurement to find is the cup size. This is done by placing the tape measure over the fullest part of the bust and around the back all at the same level. Again this should be firm but not too tight. Your cup size is the difference between the two measurements. For example if your bust size is the same as your bra band size you are an A cup, a 1 inch difference = B cup, 2 inches = C cup, 3 inches = D cup and so on. All measurements taken are really only used as a guide to bra size because bras size can vary greatly from manufacturers to manufacturers. Sometimes a very experienced trained professional can judge your bra size by eye and will not need to use a tape measure. Because women vary so greatly in shape and size it is not only the size of bra that is important, but also the type of support required and distribution of weight. A trained fitter will be able to offer you advice on the correct type of bra to suit your needs.

If you are treating yourself to new clothes or outfits, it is especially important to be professionally measured, particularly with big bra fittings, to achieve that feminine silhouette.

Things to Notice about your bra:-

  • If you find that your bra rides up your back it may be because it is too loose. Try tightening the bra with the hook and eye clasp or buying a smaller band size (32 instead of 34).
  • If the opposite is the case and your bra is too tight try another band size up or even a bra that has a wider band fitting. You can also get extra hooks to fit on the end of your current bra that will ease the tightness under the bust.
  • Bulging sides can be remedied by choosing a bra that offers more cup coverage or is one band size bigger.
  • If you find that your bust is bulging out of the cups then you will probably need a larger cup or band size. (Unless of course that is the fashion statement you are aiming for!)
  • For ladies who have larger busts, a bra with wider shoulder straps or even padded ones will give relief from sore shoulders.
  • A sagging bust line can be overcome by choosing a bra that offers firmer support and avoiding stretchy fabrics.
  • An under-wired bra may give problems with soreness under the bust if not correctly fitted. In which some womes prefer to wear a non-wired soft cup bra.
  • Straps that slip usually mean they are too long so they can be shortened to correct the problem. Otherwise choose a bra style with wider straps that will not slip down or buy a bra clasp to hold the straps together at the back

The Prevalence of Cancer

According to Cancer Research UK, breast cancer is the most widespread type of cancer in the UK and around 125 women a day are diagnosed with this particular form of cancer. Breast cancer rates have increased by 13% over the last ten years and one in nine women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. This may be due to the national screening programme, but early detection is vital for a good prognosis. Survival rates of 5 years or more after treatment is 80% and that means that there are a large number of women who require specialist bras especially after surgery.

As a result of the increased rates of breast cancer and manufacturers looking to specialise in new markets, the range of stylish Mastectomy bras and lingerie has grown considerably, so having had breast surgery does not mean that you can’t have stylish designer lingerie any longer.

Mastectomy Bra

Choosing lingerie after surgery where the breast or part of a breast has been removed can sometimes be quite difficult and there will naturally be a period of adjustment. Part of the rehabilitation will be to acquire a prosthesis to use in conjunction with a mastectomy Bra towards recovering the normal silhouette.

The amount of surgery you have had will determine the type of product you require. The prosthesis should match the natural remaining breast or if two are required they need to restore the natural outline. When going for a fitting for a mastectomy bra it is important to have the right prosthesis with you.

There are a full range of Mastectomy bras available to choose from, so pamper yourself.

A Mastectomy bra is generally made from fabric that is designed to be more comfortable on sensitive and post-operative areas of skin, but this doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style or elegance, and a wide range of beautiful post-surgery lingerie is obtainable. These can be purchased as complete sets with matching bottoms. Apart from the different fabrics used, the main difference of a Mastectomy bra is that is has pockets to accommodate the prostheses and generally there will be a choice of a higher neckline and higher panels between cups. A Mastectomy bra will usually have adjustable straps for effective support. There is no need not to be stylish and feminine; bras with satin and lace trim also feature.

Where there is a bilateral mastectomy the bra will need to accommodate the natural breast in one cup and the prosthesis in the other. Ensure that you find a boutique with a qualified fitter to help you find exactly the correct size and fit to suit your shape. No prosthesis will look right if your bra does not fit properly and ideally the two should be fitted together.

Points to be aware of when choosing the correct mastectomy bra for you are:-

  • The prosthesis must fill the bra cup properly so that it doesn’t pucker or be over stretched
  • The underarm section is the same on both sides
  • The breasts are evenly aligned.

Where only part of the breast tissue has been removed (lumpectomy) then there is only a need for a breast enhancer. There are a range of styles and shapes for partial reconstruction usually made from silicone but another option is a bean prosthesis.

Polypropylene beans mould into the shape of the bra to give a really natural look and the beans allow air to circulate making it cool and comfortable.

There is also a range of swimsuits and bikinis designed with discreet modifications for the beach such as pockets for the prostheses, slightly higher necklines and closer underarm fitting with pre-formed cups to give natural contour to the figure. Again these come in every shape and size and don’t mean that you have to sacrifice new fashions.

Maternity Bras

When women become pregnant they outgrow their ordinary everyday bras very early on in pregnancy. The breasts become bigger and heavier in the first few weeks so a good support bra of the correct size is vital. As the pregnancy develops the breast size continues to change and fluctuate so regular measuring and fittings will help with comfort and health. Many midwives and retail outlets advise against purchasing an underwired bra during pregnancy and although there is no concrete evidence to show that underwires are harmful during this time, there does appear to be some potential risk. The reason for this advice is that the rigid wires found in underwired bras may interfere with the natural changes in the size and shape of the breast and restrict the increased blood flow to, and possibly hinder, the developing milk duct system.

Specialist lingerie retailers tend to stock all specialised bras such as post operative bra, nursing bra and maternity bra ranges. These boutiques will nearly always have professional measuring staff, which is an important part of the process of getting exactly the right fit.

To make sure you are wearing the best supporting bra a professional measuring and fitting service is a must during pregnancy. It is important that you are measured every 6 to 8 weeks so that your specially trained fitter can assess your changing shape and fit you accordingly. When you are looking for a maternity bra it is important that it offers you great support with wide straps and side panels. A wide under bust band and a deep centre at the front will also enhance this support. A bra that covers as much as possible of the breast will be more comfortable as the breasts become more sensitive during pregnancy.

A lot of pregnant women find that they feel very hot during pregnancy and a bra that is mainly cotton will help let the skin breathe. Look for a bra that has at least 4 rows of hooks and eyes so that your bra can grow through your pregnancy with you. Make sure that the bra fits without the breast spilling over the top and that the cups fit comfortably. As with your everyday bra make sure that the centre front is lying snugly on your breastbone, and if it’s early in your pregnancy remember that your rib cage will expand so fit your bra on the smallest fastenings so that you have plenty of room for growth. The opposite will apply for maternity bras purchased later in pregnancy of course, fit on the loosest hook and eye so that when your rib cage shrinks after birth, you can tighten your bra accordingly.

Conclusion

During the early stages of a woman’s life she will need appropriate bras to suit each stage. During the early teenage years a more modest non wired bra is the most appropriate.

Later in adolescence where appearance is a serious business, a more fashionable good fitting bra to create a feminine silhouette is required.

In pregnancy a comfortable good supportive bra which has expanding fastenings allows for changes during that period without restriction and damage. Following the birth, a good nursing bra to allow for easy access needs to still support the breast as it fluctuates hourly during the day.

If women undertake vigorous exercise then it is doubly important she wears a good sports bra to reduce bounce as that stretches the pectoral muscles.

As a woman ages the breasts mature and so will need a good supportive structure that helps prevent sagging and yet retains a good outline. After menopause many women loose the full breast shape and at that point it is more important to find an appropriate type of bra that will help them feel good about themselves.

Many women have been unfortunate enough to have had a full or partial mastectomy in which case correct prosthesis and mastectomy bras are an essential part of the recovery programme.

Many women spend a great deal of time and money on hairdo’s, makeup and face pampering, yet often they neglect their greatest assets. Maybe it’s time we women start to think differently about the way we look after our bosoms’ and make sure they are clothed in comfortable, supportive and good looking items.

Non-geographic telephone numbers (e.g. 0845 numbers) have long been popular with UK radio stations that use them for travel hotlines, on-air auctions and as their main studio numbers. There are many reasons as to why they are so commonly used (discussed below) and now it seems that a brand new non-geographic number range is making them an even more attractive proposition.

03 phone numbers offer exactly the same benefits as 08 numbers, but with one crucial difference – the cost for people to call them. 03 numbers cost the same to dial as regular landline (01/02) numbers, even from a mobile phone. Furthermore, 03 numbers are included in the free minutes allocations offered by all landline and mobile network providers. This is important when 40% of all UK calls are now from mobiles (Source: Ofcom). In fact, this percentage is likely to be even higher for calls to travel lines where listeners are inevitably stuck in traffic or on the road. Popular south coast station, Wave 105 in Hampshire found that 89% of the callers to their 03 travel line (0345 230 1050) in May 2009 were from mobile phones.

Up-to-date travel reports are a USP for many local radio stations and therefore encouraging people to call is an integral part of the broadcaster’s role. With a ‘caller-friendly’ 03 number this makes a radio presenter’s job easier as the call costs are not a barrier to stop people getting in touch. It’s perhaps for this reason that the BBC has recently replaced all of its 0870 numbers with 03 numbers (e.g. Radio 1’s main studio phone
number: 03700 100 100)

Like all non-geographic numbers, radio stations can handpick an 03 number that incorporates their frequency. For example, Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio) uses 0330 123 1215 as its main on-air studio line – with 1215 reflecting its frequency on AM/MW. Not only does this make the number more memorable for its listeners, but it also serves as a very effective marketing tool for them to enable people to recall the station’s frequency more easily.

Having a memorable phone number that listeners can recall easily is specifically important for radio as it’s a form of media that people consume whilst carrying out other tasks – e.g. driving, decorating and working! This means they generally don’t have the opportunity to note down the phone number when it’s been announced which makes a memorable phone number even more crucial to encourage listener interaction.

Another reason why 03 numbers are popular with radio stations is because they do not isolate the listeners that live outside of the station’s immediate area.

Many radio stations broadcast to more than one county – locally, regionally and even nationally and by using an 03 number it enables broadcasters to announce a single number that is not location specific (unlike numbers with area codes). This also helps to ensure that announcements are clear and concise without mixed messages.

What’s more, an 03 number guarantees their phone number is future-proof should they decide to broadcast to an even wider audience on DAB digital radio.

A further benefit of an 03 number is the fact that online call management systems can be added to them without the need for additional hardware or equipment. For example, online call re-routing means that calls to an 03 number can be forwarded to another landline or mobile at the touch of a button. Mike Ayling at Wave 105 finds this feature specifically useful:

“At night and at weekends, when the travel centre is unmanned, we often divert the calls to the main studio so that the on-air presenter can take them and broadcast the travel information straight away. This can all be achieved with one telephone call or online and ensures that our travel reports are always up-to-date and it means that all calls are answered – which is important to us from a customer service point of view.”

This instant call diverting is also popular with radio stations that take networked shows as they can re-route calls to their main number to another studio with immediate effect.

To sum up, 03 numbers offer radio stations all the flexibility of 08 numbers – without the increased call
costs for their listeners. These 2 reasons alone will guarantee that you are likely to hear 03 on a wireless near you in the very near future…

Why I Choose a Jogging Stroller

   Posted by: writer    in Software

I was running on the treadmill at my local gym when a new mother hopped onto the treadmill next to me. Much to my surprise she was holding her baby. I asked her why she was carrying that new baby on a treadmill. She said she couldn’t bear to part with her little one, yet still wanted to get a workout in. After about ten minutes she was extremely tired and her baby was crying. Now what? Well within a few days I saw her again. This time she wasn’t at the gym. She was running outside the gym. She was jogging behind her nice, new jogging stroller. Mom was happier and her baby was happy too.

I have had several moms e-mail and ask “Is a jogging stroller right for me?” Well there are a few factors to consider.

First, if you prefer to run on the treadmill at the gym then you probably won’t need a jogging stroller. However, if you are like me and enjoy running outside and spending time with your baby then a jogging stroller is the best way to go.

When you choose to buy a jogging stroller don’t forget important safety features like a hand brake and wheel locks for easy stopping, safety belts and the five point harness. Your child’s safety should always come first. The five point harness is great for toddlers and small children.

Also consider your child’s comfort. You may want to look into a reclining seat and a canopy. It is also a good idea to wait until your child is holding his or her head up and sitting independently before using the jogging stroller. However, there are safety products you can buy if you would like to use your jogging stroller sooner.

When we’re running in cool or cold weather, we may be hot or comfortable in minimal clothing, but a child is not doing the exercise. Don’t forget to dress your little one in warm clothes, especially if you’re running or walking in the wind. Short runs are best with your child. Competing while pushing your running stroller is not recommended.

I prefer a jogging stroller versus a regular stroller because I enjoy being outside. I have found that my jogging stroller makes it a lot easier to push on non-paved roads and it moves at a faster pace
